MCAS test

Has a pandemic school year impacted the way your child prepares for MCAS this year?

  • Get Used to Test Taking Again

Many schools paused quizzes, tests, and even homework this year. Students have not had the experience of working through a long test in a focused manner for quite some time now. We've provided several years' practice tests below to get your student used to test-taking again.

  • Step Back...Then Move Forward

We recommend students start with an MCAS practice test from a prior grade. For example, a 4th grader should take a 3rd grade MCAS test to warm up their skills. This will increase a student's confidence level as well as identify areas of weaknesses for a student who has lost math skills during this pandemic year.

  • Catch Up on Skills

It is a fact that many online or hybrid classrooms are not able to cover the full grade curriculum this year. Once you identify areas of weaknesses—whether your child has forgotten the skills or the topics were never covered—review these specific areas by clicking the category in the next session. You can also ask to work on them with your Mathnasium instructor.
